Dr. Juha Kalliopuska

Juha has been working in the field of semiconductor detectors for more than 10 years. His core competence is in silicon sensor design and processing.

Juha worked at Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT) from 2003 to 2012. In 2012 he became a co-founder and CEO of Advacam Ltd, a spinoff company from VTT. Advacam’s core competence is in the edgeless silicon sensor fabrication together with hybridization to the readout ASIC electronics.

Juha did his Master’s Thesis in Materials Physics and Computational Sciences at Helsinki University of Technology (Nowadays Aalto University) in 2004. He defended his Doctor’s Thesis in 2007 at University of Helsinki.
