Dr. Jan Tous

Dr. Jan Tous has been working for more than ten years in the field of ionising radiation detection and imaging. He is involved mainly in high spatial resolution detection systems based on scintillation single crystals.

Jan works at CRYTUR as a researcher for ionising radiation detectors and imaging systems. His scope of interest is in single crystal scintillators growth, physics and use. He published several papers about high resolution X-ray imaging systems with spatial resolution about 1 micrometre.

Jan did his Master’s Thesis in 1994 and his Doctoral Thesis in 1997 physical electronics at Mathematics and Physics department of Charles University Prague, Czech Republic
